Council Elects Youngest Mayor in the Country 15 Jun 2009
Cllr Katy Little was elected Mayor for the new Civic Year at a ceremony at the Ware Priory on 18th May making her the country's youngest mayor. Mayor Little gives a video introduction to the town of Ware.

Charity Dragon Boat Regatta 12 Jun 2009
The Rotary Club of Hertford Shires is holding its annual Charity Dragon Boat Regatta on the River Lea in Ware this weekend. The event will be based in the grounds of Sacred Heart School in Broadmeads where parking is available.

New PCSO Joins Ware Team 14 May 2009
Hertfordshire Constabulary are introducing Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Ryan Jarvis to Ware Neighbourhood Team.

Ryan who is 25-years-old, joined the Ware Neighbourhood Team a couple of months ago and has been working in St Mary’s and Chadwell replacing PCSO Scott Rome.
