Gourmet Tastebuds Cookery Classes
One of the meals you too can prepare
Gourmet Tastebuds is new business venture setup and operated by Ruth Elizabeth Gillham, a City & Guilds Advanced Professional Cook who qualfied back in 1994 at Southgate College in London.

Ruth is now sharing her skills and offers various cookery classes at her home in Ware.

Ruth found her passion and love of food as early as taking her Cooking Badge for The Brownies, when she was just 8 years old, fully encouraged by her Mother herself a Cordon Bleu Chef.

Ruth has catered for various functions including Christening, Birthday Parties, Office Luncheon and Fine Dining Dinners.

Ruth became fondly known as “Cookie” when she assisted with the setting up of a school kitchen, sourcing suppliers and menu planning. The children were encouraged to eat healthy nutritious meals within the restrictive school budget.

Gourmet Tastebuds Cooking Classes are held in The Lodge kitchen which is prided on its exceptional hygiene standard and five star rating. The classes are covered by Public and Product Liability to ensure maximum compliance.

The cookery course and classes are designed to teach basic to intermediate skills incorporating cooking your own dinner. The classes are small, fun and informative.

Recipes sheets are handed out with the skills as learnt so to ensure the dinner can be replicated at home to impress your family and friends.

The classes are run on Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7.30 -9.30 pm and cost £20 each which includes all equipment, ingredients and your dinner. Book a six week course and get one class free.

One to one classes and day courses also available.
