I would not want anyone to think I did nothing but sit in the garden and scan the skies ( as my wife does)....
Did anyone else see the single engined aeroplane that just flew over Ware ?
This May sound silly, but it looked to me like a Japanese zero fighter. Are there any flying, or has my liquid lunch finally caught up with me !

My guess would be its a North American Harvard, used as a trainer by the RAF during WW11 and as a double for Zero's in several films, has the radial engine and a long canopy so not too disimilar.

From Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon we had a couple of V-22 Ospreys, the B-17, Mustangs, stunt planes and a pair of Jet Provosts over.

Worth keeping an eye open this weekend (19th-20th) as it's the Duxford Battle of Britain 75th Airshow - we might get a few flyovers!
