I'm looking for a good quality, nearly new mobility scooter - the mid size (4 mph, pavement) version - NOT the lighter weight 'put in boot' or heavier 8 mph road-going versions. If it is in Ware or Watton at Stone so much the better.

Mum went to try a scooter at Hertfordshire Action on Disability in Welwyn. http://www.hadnet.org.uk/home-new.aspx
They sell new but also secondhand equipment and were wonderful with Mum, although in the end she didn't have the confidence to buy and use one.
