It seems strange that the press frequently covers members of the public receiving fines from the 'litter police' but go to Presdales field after a weekends football it is covered in fast food bags and countless discarded drink bottles along with bits of insulation tape that had been used as sock garters
The council claims cuts to budgets but has no problem in sending up a council worker ,in a van,on Monday mornings to pick up all the rubbish
Bury Rangers may well be paying for this service but it cannot be setting a good example for the youngsters to assume it is in order to just discard their rubbish and someone will come after them picking it up
