Higher Education
Although Ware has no higher educational establishments, the
towns Hertford Regional College run courses in association with The University of
Hertfordshire which has its Business School in Balls Park, just four miles away
in the town or Hertford.
Located on the outskirts of the county town, the Business School is one of eight faculties within the University of Hertfordshire with undergraduate / postgraduate courses and research in business, economics, management, operations research, statistics and social sciences. The Business School is the largest faculty in the University with a student FTE of some 2700, 50 schemes of study, over 300 international students, some 1200 students on their schemes franchised abroad, and in excess of 100 academic staff.
The Business School is set in 100 acres of attractive parkland. The campus offers modern teaching and residential accommodation, and has as its centre a magnificent Jacobean mansion house dating from 1630.
