45th Annual Ware Fireworks Display
31 October 2016

45th Annual Ware Fireworks Display
Fireworks in Ware

The 2016 Ware Fireworks Display will take place on Saturday 5th November at its usual venue on the corner of High Oak Road and Kingsway. Whatever the weather, wet or dry, the fireworks will be launched!

The Rotary Clubs of Amwell, Ware and Hertford Shires, all of whom meet in Ware, are working together to put on the Ware Firework Display - an event which was started and run by Ware Round Table many years ago.

Now in its 45th year, this popular event attracts around 4-5000 people.

This year it is again with generous support from our sponsors. Our thanks go to Marriott Hanbury Manor, PJ Valves of Hertford, FM Suckling of Ware, V&S Scaffolding of Hertford, Hunsdon Skip Hire, GWF Power, EFF (European Flavours and Fragrances) and Mode Lighting of Ware and the Neelakash Restaurant, also in Ware.

The Marriott Hanbury Manor Hotel has kindly donated a round of golf for 4 people on their Championship Golf Course as the prize in our Lucky Number Draw!

The display is by Fantastic Fireworks and is set to music, and there will be stalls selling hot food and drinks, and is going to be our biggest display yet.

The fireworks spectacular will take place on the corner of High Oak Road and Kingsway. Both Grasmere Road and the section of High Oak Road between Kingsway and Musley Hill will be closed to traffic between 5.00pm and 8.30pm, for the safety of people attending the event.

Gates open at 5.30pm, the bonfire will be lit around 6.30pm and the fireworks display is expected to commence around 7.00pm.

Advance online tickets are available now at 10% discount on gate prices.
Entry costs £5 for adults, £3 for children (U14) and £15 for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children). NB: Payment only at the entrance gates on the night and this year. See the Ware Fireworks Website for online booking details.

As always there will be lots of marshalls to ensure that everyone, adults and children alike, enjoy a safe evening.

Over the years the event has raised many thousands of pounds for local charities.
