The "Aircraft over Ware" thread over the last couple of days has made me realise (although I may be wrong) that there is a need for a serious game of Mornington Crescent on here.
So I'll start with the traditional Thursday morning opening of Pimlico.

| I know that Mornington Crescent is a now defunct London underground station but have never heard of a game of that name, please explain the rules. |

To fully explain the rules of Mornington Crescent would occupy the fine minds of WOL for a decade!
Using "Rushton's Riposte" I play Gloucester Road |

Ware Online is supposed to be about Ware, so if you want to play it has to be using Ware references.

And I claim the win here, thanks for that easy connection to get me from Pope's Row back to the Priory via Ware Town Council!
My starter is The Hyde. |

| If we are using "Rushton's Riposte" you can’t move directly from the Priory via Ware Town Council as Ware Town Council is inadmissible. I wasn’t born yesterday Ian! |

It's quite clear that you haven't won Ian as in your post you were carrying on from Pope's Row when we had already moved on to Fanshawe Crescent. |

You can pass Tower Road if you are in spoon and you can get into spoon by offering an early Fanshawe Crescent. C'mon Ian, you should be aware of the rules regarding being in spoon. |

I've been pondering the rules overnight, and realise that a further consequence of entering Spoon so early is I can now take the Hertford Loop, and return to The John Gilpin.

| Sneaky! I'm going to play the Amwell End Reverse (made famous by Willy Rushton in that epic game I'm sure we all recall so well), and so.... Trinity Road. |
