Can't especially imagine why a Spit would be doing this over Cheshunt, unless you were looking east and it was over towards North Weald - which has regular air days I think |

| Could it be The Gunpowder Mills Musuem in Waltham Cross, they sometimes have a Spit with a WWII show? |

Slightly off topic so accept my apologies, I was down at Cheshunt, where the lakes/canal is and there was a spitfire doing really impressive manoeuvres, loop the loop etc. Is there a museum down there or something? Can't think of an air strip except that one you can see from the M25 but then I don't know the area.
There is a two seater Spit that takes "joy rides" it could have been that or just the pilot enjoying himself prior to a fly by in London somewhere. Although slightly off topic these aircraft are becoming "one of the few" so excepted on this occasion. |

Reply removed as it was a generalised complaint about noise and this is a topic on Aircraft over Ware. If you wish to continue the noise theme Cass please start another thread. Thanks. Team Admin |

| I live in braughing and at 1.49am this morning (Tuesday) I was awoken by an extremely fast low flying aircraft going over the house. I'm sure it was a turbo prop and nothing to do with stansted as it was so low and fast (it made the house shake). did anyone else experience this? |

A white twin engined Catalina flying boat went over today heading South West...
Also, did anyone see two identical helicopters going over Ware in what seemed to be a holding pattern on Saturday evening? It was the night before Elton John performed at Hatfield House...just a thought... |

Around 13:30, right? Was in a meeting, so couldn't follow it too well, but thought it looked like that! |

Yes Scouter, WickenMan, WickenLady and I saw that - one was circling over Ware apparently waiting for the other to catch up - they then departed North (ish) in line astern |

And looked to be on the return journey yesterday around 12:45. Was out in the open so more opportunity to view it. |

| The B-17 (Flying Fortress) Sally-B flew over Ware twice this afternoon and I saw a Storch this morning. |
