Although they are in Div 4 of the Women's Southern League, after rounding off the preliminary stages with wins against Dukesmead (Div 1), Radlett (Div 2) and Blackheath (Div 3) to finish top of the Northern Div. they have now completed a fine win in the quarter finals against Guildford (Div 1) to reach finals day in Sept where the semis and final will be played down in Surrey. Well done the ladies.

Top Stuff Spear, we definately need more Womens cricket in the area! Our Beth langston has been cleaning up the wickets in the saracens league with us much to the mens annoyance.

Humpfrey youd never make a detective - it is posted in the cricket forum! :-)

The draw is now done and East Herts will play Blackheath in the semis on Sept 10. Brighton and St Lawrence will contest the other.

Article on the ECB site is here:-

Finals day tomorrow - good luck to the ladies.

A much better season, all players have shown improvement and more games won than in any past season.
Now waiting to see the result of the ECB review of women's cricket to see what happens next year.

(also good luck to the Herts Ladies for Sunday - if they win vs Durham then they go up to Div 3)
