Another day out at the seaside but no trip up the pier!! Hertford travel to Southend for their second consecutive away game. Having won the home leg Southend will be looking to gain revenge and win their home game. I keep saying this and as the season progresses it becomes more important that Hertford take points from these games if they wish to remain in National 2. Southend are just seven points above Hertford in ninth place. The three teams below Hertford are playing similar level teams so the race to stay up is very much on.
Once again today was wishful thinking with Southend running out 29 - 12 winners. The only bright note today is that the three teams below Hertford in the league also lost so its status quo for the bottom positions.
