| For the second time this week the 8.02 has been cancelled. The next Liverpool st train is 40mins later. Did no one else on the forum notice? I guess we're all resigned to the random service now. |

Yes, I noticed but I'm reluctantly getting resigned to having a bad service, litter on tracks and no Metro Mon-Wed. Allegedly, first cancellation was due to over-running engineering works and the second due to brakes stuck on at Hertford. |

I too noticed the absence of train, very frustrating twice in one short week!
Still it has enabled me to explore alternative routes, involving the 8.20 and either the tube at Tottenham Hale or a change to a fast train at Cheshunt.
If you wamt a Metro you need to get in before the well informed school kids heading to Hertford! |

That's interesting, I've foolishly changed at Broxbourne in the past to what i now believe is the 0843 from Ware. Pointless really. Because of the defective ticket machine and massive queue on Monday I was forced onto the 0820 again, I changed at Tottenham Hale to a non stop Liverpool street train 2 minutes later. I wonder if this is the same train you got from Cheshunt? Maybe your route is better. Darn it's hard work estimating the best way to get to London. It's a challenge I really don't need at that time of the morning! |

Ah now that I think about it, it might have been Tottenham Hale were I changed, seems my memory of trains is not all I might have hoped!
If you have a smartphone Greater Anglia do provide a pretty good app which I have found useful. |

| Twitter is the best way for info , the guy who tweets is based in the control room ,, the more people that join and ask questions the better. the service is so fast at times you can be sitting on the train stuck somewhere and you know whats going on ahead quicker then the driver. give it a try.. |

| I second TomTom's recommendation of the Twitter feed - it's really useful and they respond very quickly to any comments/queries. I've been very impressed by it. |
