| Is it too late to ask for the Torch to be re-routed up Bowling Road, over Musley Lane and into King George Road as the potholes are atrocious here. |

Guess where they diverted the funding from to do the other roads

Well did we see the torch from here in NZ or not? We were watching on the webcam, its evening here, and it became tricky to get a connection as the server was being overloaded. We saw loads of buses and police going through and we think a guy in white running behind a bus who may have had the torch? If anyone took any pictures put us out of our misery!! Shame it started raining we hope it dries up for the carnival parade. |

| If it's any consolation that was pretty much all I saw from Surbiton. Why was the torch bearer so close behind a support vehicle rather than out in front? Perhaps it wasn't the torch bearer but every body started to move away after that so I guessed it must have been. |

Ware was very crowded indeed. Amazing. Most of the marketing ballyhoo went through five minutes earlier and that confused a lot of us. The flame was run through almost hidden (as above) as something of an anticlimax, almost in time with the rain.
Underwhelming - the flame should have been out in front. |

I believe the support vehicle in front of the torch was the BBC webcam (converted horsebox which has done an excellent job of recording the whole flame journey from Lands End to Bishops Stortford so far). An opportunity for everyone to follow the journey, not just the "98% of people who live within an hour from a proposed event". This sad person is really enjoying the webcam coverage but I suppose it is the BBC so better complain. http://www.bbc.co.uk/torchrelay http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/rogermosey/2012/05/torch_relay_challenge_for_bbc.html |

| Ware more packed than I've ever seen before - quite brilliant! Shame the rain arrived with the torch, but who cares! Went by quickly, but just what I expected. For those wise enough to stay for the carnival parade, we had a second dose, with Andy French proudly leading Great Amwell Cubs with his torch from Tuesday - this was my highlight of the day! What a great day for Ware... |

| 3rd ware cubs and beavers had a good view of the torch change over and lighting of the flame. Many of them got to touch the torch that was waiting to be lit. |

| Fantastic turnout! To see an 86 year old run up the Watton Road hill is truly inspiring! |

Some of the corporate juggernaut

Is it just me or is this a bit wrong?

Aha! It does exist.

| Nice to see the pre 1997 Flag of the British colony of Hong Kong again in the parade instead of the SAR flag. |
