Ah! They are there are they. I s'pose that's the disadvantage of having the biggest sign and the smallest people.

| I thought it was a great day - both the parade and the carnival. I had friends come up from London & they kept saying how friendly Ware is. It was great to see so many people out, and I hope that those taking part in the carnival did manage to enjoy it, I felt very sorry for some of them when they were getting a right soaking! |

Just about dried out now. Cheers everyone involved/taking snaps; all n all a cracking day for Ware + loved seeing 70+ boats on the Lea.
The BBC film of the torch is great and its amazing to see it leave hertford in the dry and then as it goes under the A10 you can clearly see the pesky dark cloud up above. |

The photographs posted on here were good - many thanks. I've watched a few of the videos and, must confess, I really like the 'shake your booty' poses the female police officers strike as they face the crowd when the flame is being transferred to another torch..... |

I giggle at that too. And they were trained to do that pose! It is a tiring job I must say, and I have seen the same runners in a few of the bbc online videos so they have to be really fit. |
