Well at least there are now at least 2 Conservatives on WTC who have absolutely nailed their reputations to the 'no incinerator' banner - Mark Pope and Ros Standly.

I see Terence Milner appears (in the Merc) to be blaming "misinformation" regarding the incinerator, ironic when you consider that much of the problems arose from the Conservatives own leaflet.

I haven't seen the Mercury, but if as I suspect Mr Milner is trying to discredit BIG, then he's simply showing his ignorance BIG and of scientific research. I don't think he has ever tried to have a discussion with them.

BIG have argued coherently and cogently about the potential problems with incineration and have shown that there are viable alternatives. Indeed, they have impressed Mark Prisk with their knowledge and reasoned argument, so perhaps Mr Milner ought to talk to his colleagues higher up, maybe they will be able to help him with the science.

Terence Milner can't argue about misinformation - we put his quote on the BIG website ACTUALLY as he said it. If he didn't mean it, why did he say it? But it looks like, from the Mercury, that he was unhappy with the way in which the Tory case was presented to the people of Ware and only the Tories could have done him that disservice.

David Albinson came and knocked on my door tonight and promised absolute opposition to mass burn here or anywhere by the Lib Dems.

That's good news brittanymoyer561 - the message is getting out and the strength of feeling is growing.
