Amwell Reserve and Buntingford Line Walk

The Buntingford Railway Line used to run between Buntingford and St Margarets between 1863 and 1964. Closure was due to a lack of passengers using the service. Remains of the line can be seen along the route.

Ware to Hertford Lock and Back

The New River is a man-made waterway which was opened in 1613. This supplies London with fresh water which is taken from both the River Lee and springs along the way.
