The Ware Town Parnership and the Ware Town Council have announced the date for this years Famous Ware Dickensian Evening.

In order to encourage community groups and businesses to join in and take part, a series of workshops have been arranged.

Ware’s Dickensian Evening will be on the evening of Friday 4 December 2009 6.00pm til 10.00pm

The traditional Christmas Street Market will use the tried and tested format, with community stalls in Tudor Square and the High Street and Baldock Street, Craft Markets in Ware Drill Hall and Place House, Street entertainment and fairground rides.

FREE WORKSHOPS FOR LOCAL GROUPS

If you are a new or small group or would just like to know more about taking part in Ware’s Famous Dickensian Evening – for Fundraising, finding new members or just letting people know where to find you please come along to our FREE workshops at Ware Arts Centre.

The sessions will cover all aspects of taking part in the evening and will be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have face to face.  Workshop dates:

• Wednesday 16 September 7.00-9.30pm

• Tuesday 22 September at 10.00am - 1.00pm
