Ware Festival viewing of the Quilt & latest news
The Quilt had it first public outing on Ware Festival day and was viewed by hundreds of people. It will be up at Wodsons soon.
The people of Ware had there first chance to see the wonderful Ware Quilt. I think that it is fair to say that everybody viewing fior the first time were bowled over by the magnificent piece of material art.
Those that missed it will be able to see it at Wodsons when it begins it's display there in the next couple of weeks. A photo of the quilt has been taken by local photographer, Richard Bonner. A framed copy of this photo will be presented to the Queen as a gift from the people of Ware to celebrate her jubilee.
