Re: Asda 24-hour alcohol application
Due to the diligence of the resurrected local residents' committee, who obtained 290 signatures on a petition and achieved the support of local councillors, both applications have been withdrawn. They are the application for a 24 hour alcohol licence and another application for 24 hour opening. ASDA...

Re: Flash new face of Ware Online
Yes I like it too but I would still like to see the list of recently discussed topics come up on the home page like before.

Re: Ware Recycling and Refuse Centre
It doesn't say when the closure begins except that it be January at the latest.

Can anyone confirm this?

Re: The Southern Maltings
I couldn't agree more Richard - well said that man! I think that the most encouraging aspect is that the current group running the show have the drive, ambition and creativity to make it work. But there is always room for more people to come up with ideas and help. Get involved people and see the fr...

Re: New snooker club?
I popped in there on Tuesday and had a chat to the new owner. He is already open for business and the table rates are cheaper than before. You have to join but it's free - just bring along ID the first time you go. Only soft drinks available at present but drinks licence expected next week. Also no ...

New snooker club?
Sadly, Pockets, the only snooker club in Ware, closed earlier this year. I heard that the premises are to be converted into flats! However, this morning as I was walking past the tanning shop (underneath where Pockets was) there was a sign on the pavement saying "Ware Snooker Club - opening soo...
