November 11 Ware Remembrance
Can anyone point me to accurate info on any closure of the Ware High Street at or around 11.00 am for the memorial to the war dead?
I can see something is planned for the afternoon, including a parade, but nothing up to date about the more usual 11.00 am remembrance
Thanks in advance

Re: Street Life - Tudor Sq
I agree and would generalise this comment - Ware High Street's pavements are becoming steadily more choked with tables and chairs, advert A boards and - my real delight- street furniture like the various electronics cabinets by the pedestrian crossing opposite Martins/Post Office. I am fully sighted...

Re: Town Council Conduct
I've thought for years that local elections should not be about the colour rosette the candidates wear, but the actual people standing and what their contribution to the town and its organisations have been to date. Seems that for some its a power trip. Non attendance at the Annual Town Meeting wit...

Re: Refuse site
Last week I had to make three journeys up there before I could get in to drop off my carefully sorted recycling and refuse. First time - it was closed at 0900 because - get this - in the summer they only open at 10. The second time the queue was back almost to Gentleman's Fields ...and I do not have...
