Re: School Parent Governors to be scrapped
Sorry NewBoy I thought we had children and even schools in Ware? ( don't mean "we" as in you an me together :-) I know the politics of our local community are considered a unsuitable for the Ware Online Forum less they generate interest and posts. But I suspect the impact on schooling within Ware i...

Re: China Red
I see there is a planning application up to convert from restaurant to hotel/boutique bar (whatever that is).
A pity, it was one of my favourite places to eat.

Re: Sainsburys & Dominos Star Street Deliveries
You are all being totally unreasonable - it's not as if any of this could have been foreseen when planning permission was sought.
If EHDC are of the view that this is ok, what was the point of the planning restriction?

Re: Sainsburys & Dominos Star Street Deliveries
When EHDC gave planning consent to these premises, why did they not place a condition that deliveries should be made OUTSIDE of rush hour times? The traffic chaos caused by their lorries during these times is ridiculous. They did, deliveries to Sainsbury are to take place between 22.00 and 0700 and...

Re: Is Hertford Regional College losing money in Saudi Arabi
Hertford Regional College (a name I've never understood as they have no presence in Hertford, it seems designed to irritate Ware people) is currently unloved in Ware due to their vandalism of several beautiful mature trees on Scotts Road as part of yet another building project. Unloved in Scott's R...

A fight apparently. The museum is now open (after they had washed the blood off the pavement).

As per usual 99.999999% of the town couldn't give a toss what happens.
This was your chance to have a say - the Council will now decide if they want to suspend permitted development in the chosen areas and the residents will only find out when it is done.

Re: Hertford Regional College - Ware Campus
Sheer greed and vandalism, and they get away with it! Unfortunately the Conservation Area doesn't extend that far and none of the trees on the college site are subject to TPOs so they can do what they like. So far as I can see from the plans all the trees to the front and up Scott's Road were to be...
