Re: Ware Recycling Centre......aka the tip.

It doesnt't need expanding. It just needs to revert back to it's old opening times.

Re: grass verges

Oddly I just thought it was ours. I have not noticed it that high in 10 years. Mine's starting to look like a wheat field.

Re: WARE ROAD BRIDGE RIVER LEA

I think its a good idea. The amount of pain getting to the other side both as a pedestrian or a cyclist, not to mention the reduction of risk of a traffic/person accident if done. The disruption would only be a one off though.

Re: Old Cinema

Oohh, that's an interesting find! I hope it will encourage the other flat owners along that side of the road to spruce up their flats with a lick of paint. It could look so much nicer down that part of town with a bit of minimal effort.

Re: Ware town gridlock

I had exactly the same thought Scottman! I was going on a family day out to Stansted Mountfichet castle. I could not believe it took me 20 mins to get through the high street at 9.45am and then another 3/4 hour to get through road works at Standen! What a joke, do they all come out together planned ...

Re: Garden Roller hire

I had found HSS in Harlow but it got me wondering whether there was a place closer to home. Thanks for the other suggestions. I'll go to HSS next time I'm in Harlow, hardly worth a trip just for that.

Garden Roller hire

Hi,

Does anyone know somewhere local I can hire one? I'm reluctant to buy yet more stuff for one off DIY jobs!

Thanks

Re: Ware walks

Can you cycle it as well? Some parts of it lend itself well to biking e.g. around the ford. The place even has it's own motorway bridges to get in! I was interested in buying a house in Wadesmill a while back but ouldn't convince the other half (practicalities of kids transport etc). I wish I had in...

Re: Ware walks

I finally got to walk around this fine place today, spring is finally coming out. Thanks for all the information. It's a lovely up there. Who owns the estate and does it open to the public? I felt like a naughty school boy peering in!
