I see from the WTC site that the Annual Town Meeting is on 31st March - maybe we can have more than 12 attending this year.

Well, I shall certainly try to make it for the 7:30 start, especially as the East Herts planners will be there to discuss the East Herts district plan for between 200 and 3000 new houses on the outskirts of Ware - see http://www.eastherts.gov.uk/index.jsp?articleid=29192 for more info.

I must say this doesn't seem to be very well publicised, or have I missed it all?

It's briefly mentioned in the Mayor's newsletter on the WTC site, should be on the front page in my view.
Nothing in the library or on the WTC notice board outside the Priory - anyone would think they didn't want people to go.

Reminds me of the bit in Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Should be able to be there, and I'll let others know as this business of swamping Ware with huge amounts of new housing is very important.

Yes, as the Maksed Woler says, the Annual Town Meeting this year is on Monday 31 March at 7.30pm in Fletcher's Lea. The main focus of the meeting this year is the consultation on the East Herts District Plan, hence the earlier start time.

It's an opportunity to hear what the Town Council have be doing this past year including their nomination for Southern Maltings as a community asset.
