Sun and Harrow to be Care Home

That was my point, EHDC do nothing so listing has no effect - Musley is a wreck and none of the promised work has been done, only a matter of time before it is demolished.

The independent chapel is another where EHDC have done nothing.

If EHDC contact them owners put the council off with vague promises and the council go "Oh that's alright then" and go away. Years later nothing has changed.

I don't think picking on two isolated cases is representative. I could similarly pick out cases where the District Council have taken enforcement action and even prosecuted. Picking on individual cases and making generalisations without being fully aware of the facts of a particular case, and then presenting them as representative of the council's conduct, is unfair and distorted.

I'll second that (as an aside, many years ago I was lead to believe that the boxed in alcove on the downstairs south wall of No 39 Baldock Street - currently 'Quality Pizza' concealed a listed fireplace, the listing on the site for 37/39 Baldock Street seems to discount that? )
