I went past the site today and was able to look inside as the gates were open. They have excavated a long way down in the area closest to the garage (where the Roman road should be) and are piling the edges. I would be very surprised if there is anything left above the natural ground levels.

Yes, I had a look today too and they're deeper down than I thought. There was an archaeology consultant around this morning, saw a van. Still no reply from ASDA.
