And on the environmental side. Towing a caravan may reduce your fuel economy a bit but compared to flying off on holiday I'd say it's a very green solution. And for the most part it also keeps the spending here in the UK.
And the big advantage over static caravan setups is you can move if the weather isn't good and not everyone wants to spend their holiday by the seaside.
Do the statistics take into account the accidents they cause Pat, I used to have a caravan and on dual carriageways often passed queues of caravan afraid to pull out and overtake the very slow ones.
