When they reported it was Latvian they said Russian built, but before that, on the breaking news ticker and in reports on News 24, they kept saying the RAF had intercepted a Russian aircraft. Seems to have been a bit of half-baked reporting typical of 24 hour rolling news, since waiting for actual facts gives competitors an edge :-)
