The Vine...finally!!!

The Vine has finally been sold and will hopefully end the dreadful decline of the place.

We used to love going there when run properly, but the start of the decline began when the owners changed and they let the thug Jamie who ended up fighting (and being beaten up!!) with various customers, manage the place before he got sacked and ended up in the Saracen's

It has been bought by the owners of the Snug in Hertford, so let's hope they give the toilets a thorough clean, get decent staff in like the old days and get it back to being the great place it used to be.

It's a chain (of 6) so if they've bought The Vine I suspect it's highly likely it'll become a Snug, along with the prices.

Hard to believe that whoever runs it and whatever its called they could beat the extortionate prices charged there, especially for food. It's a shame, it was good when it first opened but not worth the cost now.

And I heard the prices are astronomical. £9 for a large glass of wine, £7.50 for vodka and coke!
