Christmas Recycling

Post by Wickenlady »

I have just phoned Environment Services at East Herts and was told that all wrapping paper, greetings cards and brown paper (including brown envelopes) can be recycled in the new blue lidded bins but not in with the paper. Good news!

Thanks for that, the leaflet given out says that cards cannot go in.

It isn't in Ware, but M&S are collecting christmas cards for recycling up until January 31 in aid of he Woodland Trust, so you'd be able to drop them off over in Hertford.

Is that an old leaflet? The leaflet given out last week when the recycling bins were emptied here says "...cards and wrapping paper can NOW be recycled" .. but put in the bin, not the box
