And one whole lot better than the waste processing site that was applied for there not so long back! I agree with everyone else, all in all a good addition to Ware.

Hopefully this will mean some changes to that very dangerous spot with the mini roundabout and the pedestrian crossing. So many near misses for drivers turning into Marsh Lane.

Regarding the Roebuck Hotel

The Roebuck Hotel (Forestdale Hotels) went into administration on 07/03/14 - http://www.insidermedia.com/insider/sou ... -collapses -- It was quickly snapped up by St James Hotels Ltd - http://www.hospitalityandcateringnews.c ... le-hotels/ and http://www.catererandhotelkeeper.co.uk/ ... hotels.htm.

The future looks hopeful for the Roebuck Hotel - as St James Hotels Ltd intends to invest in it as it realises the potential - So having 2 hotels in the Town is probably very healthy for the Hotel industry and also for the local community. Forestdale Hotels was always a very well respected family owned Hotel group until was sold a few years back just after they aquired the Ware hotel due to the then owner (Mr Collins) of Forestdale retiring

Wow. Excellent news! I'm very pleased to hear that the Roebuck Hotel will remain as a hotel.

It's quite incredible that we have gone from thinking Ware wouldn't have any hotel to the news that now we will have two hotels in Ware! :D
