Walk-in bathing for disabled

Hello
Following recent advice re stairlifts etc, has anyone a good/bad experience to share regarding installation of a walk-in bath, or adapted shower for elderly/disabled?
Any local recommendation welcome. Very small upstairs bathroom and one very unsteady senior gent to consider ....
