Calling all armchair activists

Dear Supporter

Don't Move - You are in sitting in exactly the right position to actively support the Southern Maltings.

If you haven't already done so already, you must Sign the Petition (https://www.change.org/p/southern-malti ... l-facility) and share the link with your friends and family. Let's try and get it to 1000 by the end of May.

The petition is part of our evidence of the community supporting the project. If we can't get the numbers up, it's going to be more difficult for us to convince EHDC that we have the support of the community. Please sign the petition.

Vote for the Southern Maltings
Furthermore, we've recently had our application accepted for a grant of £25,000 from the AVIVA Community Fund. However in order to get our hands on the money we need to get enough people to vote for us on their website.

Please go to the Aviva Community Fund website and register to vote. You will then have 10 votes - please use them all to vote for us. (https://community-fund.aviva.co.uk/voti ... view/3115/)

You can also view our video that we made to help support the application. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfhH2jmfYTI)

View the Help Save the Southern Maltings video on Youtube.

So please vote and get as many of your friends, family, workmates, strangers and their dogs to vote, vote and vote.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Following the (poor) decision of the Planning Inspector re the residential development of land at Hertford Regional College, the Scotts Road Residents Committee is winding up and donating the residue of its fighting fund to the Southern Maltings Campaign

That's a very generous gesture in sad circumstances.

Indeed - most generous and very much appreciated, and needed.

Help Needed!
We have leaflets that the Southern Maltings Community Group would like to be delivered to homes in Ware and beyond.
If volunteers could do their own street, that'll be cool.
Please post your interest here and I'll contact you about getting the leaflets to you.
Thanks, Craig.

I'm happy to help delivering leaflets Craig and I'm happy to pick them up from wherever. Let me know where you want them delivered to and when I can pick them up.

it does need to be co-ordinated otherwise some people will get more than one.

I'll be doing High Oak tomorrow but I don't think I've got enough leaflets to cover it.

Another thing is that it is best to do it with others (all political people who've been out there should agree with me on that) .

Thanks mb1.
Can you contact Sean Shaw who is the holder of leaflets and is coordinating the drop.
We don't want people to get more than one.

Thanks for the advice IGS. ;)

One person? Really?
We need at least 10 more.
Come on Ware Online - your community needs you, NOW!
