Pollution visible on our river

I've just been on the phone to the Environment Agency to report some nasty looking clumps of polution floating past my place downstream of the Ware bridge. It's mostly on the opposite side of the river near Lygean Avenue so out of reach but it does look like raw sewage and can't be good for the wildlife. Only recently there was an oil spill in the area which killed some of the swans and other birds further downstream.
