We've posted this warning on our sister site, Discover Hertford. "Not sure if they're targeting Hertfordshire at the moment, but I've just taken a telephone call from a domain name scammer claiming that someone is trying to register a domain name similar to one of our businesses and offering to register it in my name for a fee - the usual trick. I asked their business address and they gave me an address that turns out to be a pub in Shoreditch (sloppy!). The company was Profile Business Services and they claimed to be at 27 Clerkenwell Close EC1 (which is actually a bar called Dust). The guy that phoned claimed his name was Martin Finnon. The Contact Page of their website at www.profilebusinessservices.com is an unsecured credit card form (sloppy again!). The domain name is registered to a Nick Frenton of Margaret Street W1.
