�10 000 for charity
I work for a retailer and don't mention who normally but I will break cover for this thread.
Waitrose branches have recently held a charity week and raised thousands for a charity local to each branch, I am informed that the operations group I am in (Herts/ Essex) has �10 000 to donate to charity in this area.
I pitched for my favourite (Sc**ts of course) but any charity can put a plug in for possible consideration. Does anyone know of a local one that could qualify? The criteria is something like a special needs school needing a piece of kit-I'd need some detail, charity number etc and I can then put it forward.

That's retail for ya! Think of folk like me when you all go to your supermarket of choice and, locust like, dismantle and dismemeber the fresh sections...all our work up in flames![:D]
