Ware's Womble
I have heard the street cleaner who has been doing such a superb job in the town has given his notice in and left. It's a shame and if true I hope his replacement is up to his predecessor's standard.

We certainly need it. I walked through Amwell End this afternoon and the small area of grass just by the bridge was covered in litter. Most of it seemed to be paper bags etc from the bakers which people had just flung on the ground within a few feet of two litter bins.
