How do add an avatar to my profile?

Oh Lord and Master of the WOL oh great one.
Sorry got carried away, how do i add an avatar to my profile it says in my profile no Avatar added but does tell me how to add one?
Cant you let me know what i have to do.

I wish there was a yellow card system on WO. [;)]
For Acey and others who would like an Avatar, please send a picture to editor @ wareonline.co.uk.
The size catered for is 48 x 48 pixels - I'll resize and optimise as required.
Or send me a url to one you have seen and would like to use.
If anyone would like an animated avatar, please make sure they are the right size and and not too large.
