Roger that. She's probs still recovering from paintball... he he he he. Could we have different drinky poos at different venues to make things a bit more interesting ? Perhaps Sarrie's Head or the Waterfront... in weather like this would be nice to be outside and near a river, seeing all the swans etc. [:)]

Wouldn't mind meeting up - how many people actually come to "drinky poos"?

Why is it called "drinky poos" if it's only a drink?

Unfortunately each month people say that they are going to come along, but then don't turn up, or can't find the rest of us!! So it normally turns out to be just 5 or 6 Ware on Liners that turn up! It would be nice to see some new faces next time! Fridays are bad for me [:(]How about Monday 16th August? Is that OK with you Craig?

5 or 6 isn't bad - but i find the conversations online between a few members arranging the date gets boring and confusing - i would suggest that you have a fixed day every month at the same time and same place to make it simpler.

Someone's gotta do it. If you find it boring, the answer's really simple - don't follow the thread.[:o)]

Seeing as more or less the same 5 or 6 people turn up, it's better to find a date that suits them best.

Well my good friend Homer, If you find this BORING and CONFUSING, how would you cope with REAL people? We find this one night in the month very pleasent, we not only meet new people but have good chats about different threads that have been on WOL recently ie (Scathing Critisim, smelly tip, etc) and most things that interest the members of WOL. Looking forward to meeting you and all the other members, just to have a nice social evening, have a couple of drinks and a few laughs.[}:)] [:)]

Hi All I am back from my holiday and will come to the drink when a date is decided. I did come down last time sat in the garden on my own couldnt see see any oranges on any of the tables of the other people out there and so finished my drink and went home. We need to make it clear when we are there it is us especially the people who know each otherso the rest of us can find you. Fingers crossed for the next one!!! [:D]

Hi Acey I believe none of us carried an orange nor a bottle of Fairy Liquid! [:D] We were all sat at the first table on the right (under the fig tree). Maybe we should carry something more "in tune", like a folded up paper? Look forward to seeing you there next time [:)]

Monday 16th is fine with us. We didn't fancy a Friday evening at the Waterfront...not conducive to pleasant conversation! Monday is a far better option.

Friday would've been cool just for the great date factor - Friday 13th ! he he. ..but yer right, Monday would be quieter. See yas all there...

Hi, I'm new(ish) to Ware and new to Ware online. As a single, 40 year old, professional (?!), would I be made welcome at the 'Drinks' - or is it a closed shop?

Hi Ben, Welcome to WOL. Anyone is most welcome to the monthly drink session. Your contributions are valuable and we will all be pleased to meet you. [:)]

Not sure how many are going but we'll be the bedraggled lot sitting outside in the rain!![:D] Let's hope this rain passes over or we'll be stuck inside. Not looking too promising though.

Ben - no s**t Sherlock.... rofl ! I'm sure we'll cope... for those looking for the WOL lot... keep an eye out for the sad looking group of muppets in the corner somewhere... one of whom may be wearing a 'Monkey Business' T shirt. [:D]

I think that's quite offensive Monkee, I've come to think of the Ware Onliners as a very pleasant mix of people from the community!

Ok, ok... maybe 1 sad muppet then in a Monkee Business T shirt (which incidentally I apologise to anyone looking for it, as it was actually in the wash so I didn't wear it ! ... soooowwy) Next time eh ? Anyways, it was nice to meet Plus 1 & Just me again... and MusicMan with Bird... despite the horrendous downpour !!

Well I turned up at the Waterfront at 9pm and didn't see anyone who looked like they could have been the WOL crowd, I asked a couple of people if they were but I just got a funny look - so I buggered off! Oh well, worth a try!

Hi Ben, We were there, all 5 of us! We sat outside near the water. How come you did not see us !? There was Monkee, UKMan and Bird, Plus1 and myself. We also had a sign on the table that read WOL. We had a lovely evening and hope to renew it again in September (preferably before the 14th) and meet some known and unknown faces. [:)]

I ventured as far as the back door - but couldn't see anyone out there, bit dark, bad eyes etc + I thought with the weather being a bit suspect there wouldn't be anyone out there, so I didn't look THAT closely! Well next time I'll try harder! Did we have a good night?
