Fire Engine Drivers.
Does anyone know how to drive a fire engine?
It'll be a shame to let Ware burn down when there's a perfectly good fire engine down the road.
To the Firemen, please can you leave a key under the mat when you are on strike so we can save our town, if the worst does happen.
Thanks...
LR.

Oh I don't know LR, this could be a blessing in disguise. Most of us can think of a number of establishments Ware could well do without - It's an ill wind . . . . . .

I think we may be one of the luckier town as we have a retained fire service and they will not be striking but covering their area as usual. Unless somebody knows different?

I wonder where you would stand if there was a fire, and the fire fighters didn't come - as we part of the council tax goes towards funding the service - would you have a case to sue the council?

If I had a fire I would stand as far away as possible.

The firemen fully deserve the 30 grand a year they are after...they do a dangerous job and don't just sit around playing cards all day

As much as I agree with you it would open the flood gates, I also believe the nurses and police are worth more but they will not threaten a strike to acheive an increase.

Have just read the news in the Mercury were the army had 12 fire call and 10 of them were a hoax, looks to me like your in big trouble if this keeps up some ones going to lose there home while the army is on one of these hoax calls. if your army is good enouth to send off to fight for you, there sure good enouth for the job they have been asked to do for you now. lighten up- they are all you got to save your homes. ENOUTH SAID.
