Speaking on Richard Bacon's 5 Live show a Ware resident told how David Beckham came to his aid yesterday morning.

While taking his children to school yesterday morning (Wednesday 9th) his car broke down on a roundabout above the A10, leaving him and his children stranded in the traffic.

After a number of velices had passed, a silver car passed and pull in a nearby space, after which a man in a hoodie then got out and came to help.

When the hood fell away it became apparent the man was David Beckham.
