Event:chARiTY Art Exhibition -Braughing
Details: 'Everyday Matters'An open exhibition for established and aspiring artists who have created art works on 12inch square canvasses which will be exhibited anonymously and sold for 45pounds All money will go to the Norma Adams tribute fund which is linked directly to Breakthrough Breast Cancer. The exhibition will be open to the public on saturday and sunday 10-11th from 11am to 5pm.
Paul Daniels, Kim Wilde and some very established artists, alongside some new artists from Hertfordshire, Essex, London and even New Zealand have given their time, and artistic talents to this exhibition. The work promises to be diverse, stimulating and exciting -producing a visually exciting and spectacular exhibition. Refreshments and home made cakes will be on sale over the weekend- check it out!

Event:East Herts 41st Christian Aid Walk
Details:A marathon length, fully marshalled 'Sponsored Walk' to raise money for Christian Aid, starting from Hartham Common, Hertford at 8.15 am. The walk is divided into 5 sections with refreshments at each checkpoint and a minibus to return you to the starting point. Walk as many sections as you like. Ideal for teenagers in groups or families.

To discuss the feasibility of forming a new U3A for Ware & District

Members of the public who are retired or in part time work, as well as existing members of Hertford & District U3A are invited.
This would take some of the pressure off Hertford & District U3A, but dual membership is allowed.
There would be a monthly meeting at Wodson Park with free parking.

Event:Open Gardens at Fanhams Hall, Ware - in aid of Isabel Hospice
Details:This is a lovely opportunity to look around these beautiful gardens which are not often open to the public. (Opened by kind permission of Exclusive Hotels). Built in the Jacobean style and accompanied by original Japanese gardens, Fanhams Hall is set in 27 acres of beautiful Hertfordshire gardens. Although not all Japanese style, there is a great Eastern influence throughout. The Japanese Garden areas were laid out by Professor Suzuki in 1900.
A Wisteria Walk, fountains, waterfalls, bridges, lakes, trees, and stones; each has a great significance within the garden.

Come and enjoy Teas and home-made cakes. There will also be plants, books and collectables as well as a tombola.

Ware Festival

Takes place annually in July.

Woodmanstock

Started in 1995, Woodmanstock took place each year at The Woodman PH in Chapmore End. Unfortunatly, this event no longer runs.

Live Music

Live Music Every Thursday at Abs'Bar
