Ware Town Twinning Association
 | Ware is twinned with | | Wulfrath in Germany | and | Cormeilles-en-Parisis in France |
Ware has held a Town Twinning link with the town of Wulfrath in Germany since the original signing of the Pledge of Friendship took place in 1971.
In the Pledge of Friendship, people of both Towns expressed their solemn intention to maintain and foster links of friendship by encouraging visits by their citizens and by regular exchange of news, information and opinions.
Since that time renewals of the Pledge of Friendship have been signed bi-annually and many contacts, friendships and exchange visits have been made by individuals and organisations, and the original ideals continue to flourish to this day.
More recently, in 2001, Ware entered into a second Town Twinning relationship with Cormeilles-en-Parisis, a French town some 10 miles north-west of Paris. Again, the Pledge is renewed every two years and a number of strong connections and friendships have been formed.
The Ware Town Twinning Association is an association of individuals, families and organisations from Ware, represented by an annually elected committee of local residents and Town Councillors, that meets bi-monthly at The Priory to discuss Town Twinning matters.
