Welcome to Ware U3A
The Third Age Trust is the national representative body for the University of Third Age (U3A) movement in the UK. There are currently 865 U3As in the UK with 295050 individual members.
U3As are democratic, self-funded and self-managed organisations. They exist to provide a wide range of educational, creative, social and sporting activities at minimal cost. They draw upon the knowledge, experience and skills of their members to organise interest groups in accordance with the wishes of the membership.
They are open to anyone who has retired from full time employment, this includes those who are working part time. There are no lower or upper age limits. No educational qualifications are required, and none are given - these lifelong learning opportunities are for your own interest and fun.
