Residents invited to shape development

Sunday 12 May 2019

Ware residents are being asked to take part in a community planning event at the Priory next weekend.

The event is being run by JTP, together with Ptarmigan Land, to produce a masterplan for a new community of up to 1500 new homes to the North and East of Ware.  The land has been allocated for housing following last year's adoption of the district council's local plan.

The new community will be supported by a new link road, schools, neighbourhood centre, healthcare, local shops, business opportunities, sports facilities and public open spaces.

As well as an exhibition, there will be workshops and planning groups to consider key issues and plan ideas for the future.

Ptarmigan Land is acting for land owners North & East of Ware and is keen to work closely with the local community to bring forward the best possible development for the area.

There is no need to register for the event and members of the public can just turn up on the day to take part.

The events takes place at Ware Priory on Friday 17th May from 1:45pm to 5:00pm, and on Saturday 18th May from 11am to 4pm at  Fletcher’s Lea Riverside Suite.

More information can be found on JTP's website.
