Post by jasmine98 »

Does anybody know what is going on at Broadmeads pumping station and why they keep having these stinking smoky bonfires.

Saw they have been cutting back all the high conifer trees along the back edge of the plot.
Burning them green by the look of it so very smoky..

The site is now floodlit right through the night, every night. There is also external lighting on the buildings and chimney. What a waste of electricity, is it really necessary.

I suppose it depends on what purpose the lighting serves.
If they have had issues with security then the cost of the electricity may well e far less than the cost of making good damage.
They look like sodium lights so are less expensive to run than normal lighting.
But It does seem a bit over the top.
